About us
Echami a ito Association Echami a ito is a non-political Association, constituted by a group of Turkana County Professional Women drawn from all sub Counties.
It was registered in 2011 by the Registrar of Societies.
The Association takes positive actions to bringing the interests and
aspirations of the Turkana girl child and all women into the mainstream and
promote their full participation.
We are determined to support women and girls to rise above their
circumstances and reach their fullest potential both academically and
socially, and contribute socio-economically to Turkana County and the
Nation

We need to reshape our own perception of how we view ourselves. We have to step up as women and take the lead.
