Achievements
- INCREASED PARTICIPATION OF WOMEN IN POLITICS; • ENHANCED KNOWLEDGE ON CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS OF WOMEN AND YOUTH;
- PRODUCED A GUIDE ON WOMEN PARTICIPATION ON PUBLIC POLICY AND LEGISLATIVE PROCESSES; • PRODUCED AND SHARED A REPORT ON WOMEN PARTICIPATION IN GOVERNANCE;
- Over 15 secondary schools and 14 primary schools have received revision books donated by well wishers. • Over 12 secondary and 13 primary schools have beneftted from our outreach programme since 2012. • Over 157 teenage girls and boys (13-19years) trained on success tips on academic, career and social skills.
- 80 women trained on governance and leadership skills. • Organised a successful book drive campaign that collected assortment of books and revision papers from well wishers. • Established 12 girl child care clubs in 12 secondary schools. • 7. Distribution of sanitary towels to 9 schools in Loima, Turkana South and Central.
- Over 21 secondary schools have received exam past papers donated by top performing schools in Kenya, • Echami a ito members trained as Table Banking Trainers of Trainers (ToTs). • Organised a Turkana Cultural Night festival held on August 2012 at Bomas of Kenya.
